Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

This was one of the routes I took in the early 70s when riding my beautiful horse out. We would go up West Balgrochan Road, turn in to Acre Valley Road and go up the hill where the woods are and down to the other side, sometimes going on the narrow bridle path past Ferrymill. It was a lovely scenic ride!
This is where my mum was born, 76 years ago.
This was a fantastic garage operated by Gordon Hood and a chap called Shearer. As a young lad I was mad about motorbikes and the garage helped me out now and again with things such as blast cleaning spark plugs. I suppose looking back Gordon Hood could be best described as a true gentleman, as he would never accept any payment for his help and friendly advice.
