Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Bensham Crescent
A Memory of Gateshead.
I was born November 17th 1978 at 03.10 at Bensham Hospital I think. I lived 43 Bensham Crescent for over 8and half years. I attended Derwent Water Infant School. And then St Cuthberts Church of England Junior School. I absolutely loved it. Does anyone have any photos of them schools please from approx 1982 to 1986? Also I have fond memories of me and a bunch of other children in front of the rainbow bus. It appeared in newspaper. I can't remember year or month. But would love to see photo again.
I used to love playing in the park over back of Bensham Crescent. There was the mouse and the cheese, big foot and little foot. The cows which burnt like hell backs of legs in summer. But was so happy.
Also by any chance anyone remember blind Edna and her husband plus their little dog? They lived on Dixon Street
