Member Of St Albans Choir In The 70`s
A Memory of Teddington.
Friday nights were something I would always looked forward to as it would be choir practice. My sisters and a few other girls were, I think, one of the first female choir members that I can remember. There was always a special feeling, singing with the full choir, and leading us was Mr Marshall who to me was the person who taught me to sing.
But the person/persons who really remain in my foremost mind is Father Bale, a very special human being who was with Mrs Bale one of the most influential people in my life. I have never been able to thank them as Father Bale died and his wife shortly afterwards moved away, but they are always thought of.
