Annie Kingsnorth And The Holdstocks Of Heel Farm
A Memory of Throwley.
I, too, am researching my family history. My mother's cousin, Annie Holdstock, nee Kingsnorth, was a teacher at Throwley when she met her husband, Horace in the late 20s. The Holdsock family lived at Heel Farm, Throwley and I have photos from the early 30s. Annie became head of Saltwood School until her retirement. She died aged 98 in 2001.
Throwley School is no more - I am looking for a picture, but have had no luck.
Anyone help?
