Donkeys on the sands

Published on August 22nd, 2022

Smiles all around in this special selection of archive photographs taken down on the sands by Frith Company photographers from 1906 to 1963. Donkey rides were once a quintessential part of the traditional British seaside experience - less so today perhaps - and we hope you enjoy these favourites from The Francis Frith Collection today.
