I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. Lovely quality for a photo taken 100 years ago
Wasn't sure how good the quality from a 100 year old neg would be, but the photo exceeded my expectations. Mounting and frame looked nice quality as well. The perspex was hard to differentiate from glass, apart from weight, so was an acceptable alternative. Arrived in good time and well packed. All in all very pleased and would recommend.
