I have just viewed many beautiful online pictures of old Rochdale. My memories only go back to the 1960's when I started work there but my mother shared her memories of days back to the 1920's or so. What a town to be proud of in the old days and what proud people Rochdalians were. I wish the same could be said of the town nowadays. So sad what has happened. As old age comes on I find looking at times gone by interesting , it does not seem to be something we take interest in when growing up, as the old story ask your relatives question about their life. Happy Christmas, keep the photos coming.

Thank you very much for the excellent, prompt service and delivery of my order. It's a gift for my father's 94th birthday next month, hence the search for a photograph of somewhere in Plymouth (he was born there and always lived there) from the year 1925. I'm Just writing to let you know how absolutely delighted I am with my prints I spent many many happy holidays in Bourenmouth when I was a child in the 50s and 60s with my two brothers and parents. The two pictures I chose remind me of those happy days and the memories that will last forever. I still love visiting Bournemouth - it has to be my most favourite place on earth.
