More about this scene
The AA sign on the Amroth Arms beckons as a recommendation in this pleasant Pembrokeshire village. Nearby Amroth Castle is a grand 18th-century house that sits on the site of Amroth's original Norman fortress, just yards from Amroth beach. Amroth had developed in the 19th century as a coal-mining village. A great storm in the 1930s washed away some of the cottages that stood on the seaward side of this road.
