All 300,000 photographs in The Frith Collection have been scanned, but as the photos were taken over a 110 year period on a wide range of glass & film negatives, using different photographic processes, every image has to be checked and optimised, before we make a print for a customer.

My family had wonderful holidays at my aunts house called 'silba' in Golden Acre near the beach. My two brothers, sister and Mum and Dad spent such happy holidays here. I first went to Angmering after the war. My grandparents lived there and we used to spend time there in the summer. In those days there were no such things as beach furniture or pic-nic equipment. We had an ex army camp bed and a rug to sit on and we had a primus stove to boil a kettle.
