I was born in Blenheim Gardens in 1964 at my parents' house. I have great memories from the Tuffty Club through to starting school at the Primary in Aveley. I went to Aveley School from 1966 - 1971, I lived in Martin Road and we often walked through the rec to get to school. I remember Paddy Rice and the Merediths as well as Ron Whitwood, Miss Close and Mr Stowell. We went to the Hall Road Parade at lunch time and had chips.
