With the river at about half tide, a collection of boys lounge in the river bed. A few hours ago, this was covered in sea water: the state of their clothing can only be guessed at. Whilst most of the boats appear to be pleasure craft, 'Rose' - nearest to the camera - was probably a fishing boat.
