This view looks from the north bank of the Avon, near the toll bridge. The mill buildings are still in use (compare this view with the last one). The toll bridge (cars currently 30p) is just out of picture to the left; indeed, the weir goes beneath its northern arches. Built in 1872, the bridge replaced an old ferry.
