More about this scene
Mayer Hall commemorates the life and works of Joseph Mayer, the 19th-century antiquary and book collector who made his home in Bebington. The building now houses a selection of municipal offices, a small art gallery, and community service groups. The floral bed to the left of the picture highlights the work of the Women's Voluntary Service before that organisation received royal recognition and became the WRVS.
