More about this scene
Bembridge is the location of a famous public school founded in the first half of the 20th century by the spirited Mr Whitehouse. This gentleman was a fervent admirer of both the art-critic John Ruskin and the polar explorer Nansen, using their artistic and adventurous philosophies as the inspiration for his teaching.
