More about this scene
This view looks across to Crickley Hill, which is now designated a country park. Crickley is an important archeological site, where an extensive Iron Age promontory hill fort has been under excavation since the 1960s. The honey-coloured limestone characteristic of the Cotswolds has been quarried from this area for centuries.
