More about this scene
Not only has the motor car started to feature in the town, but the 'new' industries are represented by the Kingston Mill site (right), which was built for George Spencer Moulton in the 1920s on the Lamb Inn site. It was originally designed as four storeys. It is a concrete-framed building with a stone front on two sides, attempting to imitate Georgian ashlar.
