More about this scene
Here we see a tea garden with a variety of seating, benches and tables - plenty of space is needed for serving coach parties. The garden pond is deep, but little water is visible. The village was a popular coach trip destination from the coastal resorts; now visitors travel in their cars. It is now largely residential with pubs and restaurants.
