More about this scene
We are looking south-east. The population of Bridgend at this time was approximately 6,000. The Wyndham Hotel is clearly visible on the left, designated as 'of special historical and architectural interest' by the Welsh Office. It was originally four separate premises - a house, a pub, an off-licence and a bookmaker.
