More about this scene
The east end of Brimington's 19th-century parish church is just visible behind the trees in this view of the centre of the village, between Chesterfield and Staveley. The name of Ringwood Road refers to the early 19th-century mansion of Ringwood House, home of the Markham family, which stands to the north east.
