More about this scene

The man and group of boys in front of the centre ground boat are typical of visitors to any sea shore, and form the kind of scene that has not changed over the years. Their attention has been attracted by a fisherman handling a box on the beach, whcih could have been handed down by the person inside the boat.

A Selection of Memories from Cadgwith

For many years now, we've been inviting visitors to our website to add their own memories to share their experiences of life as it was, prompted by the photographs in our archive. Here are some from Cadgwith

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

We moved to Cadgwith in 1979, the best move of our lives, everyone was so friendly. Our two boys grew up there and had the time of their lives fishing and playing on the beach. We were sad to leave in 1987 but will never forget Cadgwith. Steve and Shiela Thornton.
