Cayton Bay, Cliffs And Beach c.1960

More about this scene
The wide, low-lying, sandy beach here was formed by structural faults. The five-mile cliff-top walk between here and Filey is a geologist's dream: it is made up from many rock types formed in the Jurassic period.
