Chelmsford, Admiral's Park 1919

More about this scene
Pre-dating the Rec, Admiral's Park was once the residence of John Faithful Fortescue, a rear-admiral who died in 1820. Today, the two parks are connected by a pleasant footpath/cycle path along the Can. This view has not changed significantly, although the trees look a little less majestic now.
