Chesham, Blucher Street c.1950

More about this scene
Brandon's on the right is now Brandon House, and Broadway Court beyond lost its shopfronts in the 1980s. The tall building beyond and all those on the left beyond the Baptist Church were demolished for car parks, inner relief roads, and a roundabout: Blucher Street is very much truncated nowadays. Sills shoe repairers on the left is now a chiropodist – continuity of a sort.
