Memories of Chester


i was born in the infirmary in 1944 and lived in Claremont Walk by Bold Square i remember the tanks as they were disturbing the tarmac on the way from the station to the rodee

This is 1950s, before that there was a lower smoke stack, I used to live in Christleton Road and can remember the old one!

I am an American who went to school in Chester in 1966/67. Rather, should I say, I was registered for school at Chester College. However, I can't say I was actually in the building very often.
