Chippenham, Yelde Hall c.1965

More about this scene
The Yelde Hall had been recently renovated (in 1963). The double doors on the gable end had been removed and a new box frame infill with windows had been added, which matches the style of the rest of the building. The Yelde Hall had probably not been unencumbered by buildings since the late Tudor period.
