Congleton, The Canal c.1965

More about this scene
The Bosley flight of 12 locks on the Macclesfield Canal is located in simply superb scenery. The locks are unique in narrow canal construction in that the top gates are doubles, rather than the singles found elsewhere. This canal never closed, and is eternally popular with leisure boaters.
