Coniston, The Village 1929

More about this scene
Ramblers (right) head for the hills, striding purposefully out past the Rayburne Hotel and Cafe in the centre of Coniston village. The lack of traffic in the main street is in sharp contrast with the scene today in this busy little village in the south-west Lakes.
