More about this scene
The corner of Windermere Road and Brighton Road marks the point where this photograph was taken. The empty shop on the left is now occupied by Doble`s motor cycles. The Seeboard shop on the corner of The Avenue is currently Threshers off-licence, whilst on the right the bookshop now houses a video shop. Next to Westminster Bank, Marsh`s cards and artists` shop arrived in 1925.
