can any body remember the dairy farm in BRUTON !SOMERSET. I used to go there on my holidays to my uncles farm ! he was the local milk man. I used to sit up next to him on the horse and cart delivering the milk out of big churns , filling up the jugs for all the people as we went along . the cream on the milk was an inch thick and very good to get stuck into ! until you were caught !! My mam had died not so long ago when I was 8 years old. Me and my brother and sister, and my dad, we lived in Elm Street, near the wall at the river that came out of the Ebbw Vale steel works, a nasty smelly water way that would change color over night. Hi, I was looking on the site reminising about my father, Malcolm LLoyd who lived at 156 Marine Street with my grandparents, Walter and Dilys LLoyd until he married my mother, Monica Buckley (from Newtown, Ebbw Vale) in the 50's.
