Memories of Dunsfold


I lived and worked for the west family at upper ifold from 1967 to 1969. I was voted bonfire queen in 1968 I remember being friends with Barry Coote and Nigel Petty?whose parents owned the village shop I remember lilla who lived in bin hams meadow who helped us at upper of old. Boxing day hunt meets in the village.I remember the Turton and Burning fold Manor. Very fond memories 2015.

I was born in Hunterswood Farm Bungalow in 1948. The midwife was Nurse Caines. My mother was Kathleen Joyce Brown (nee Lintott) and father David Brown. I recognise very well the photo of the Dunsfold village store in 1965 because it belonged to my uncle Bill Cox, who also ran a florist's and a taxi business from there.
