Washington Ww1 War Memorial

A Memory of Eighton Banks.

I live in Washington and have done so for the past 30 years. Currently, I am looking at the role of women in WW1. Does anyone have any information on Sarah Ferguson, deceased 1918 and shown on the Washington war memorial, the only woman on the memorial? Why was her name inscribed on the war memorial?

sarah ferguson was my grt grt grt aunt. We don't know why her name is on the war memorial but we would love to know why. Alot of research has been done on her but she is becoming quite a mystery. If you find anything new about her please let me know thanks.
