There is a book on Amazon Kindle called, THE PIT BLOCKS, By Agnes Kirkwood, for two pound five pence. It is all about a family living in the Blocks in Fallin. Hopefully it will brings a lot of memories back to all the Folks that lived in the Blocks then. Even if you weren't around then, it gives you an idea how your village came to be there in the first place. COAL.
