More about this scene
Once known as Fyfield Street, or just The Street, this end of the village now takes its name from The Queen's Head pub. The building level with the pushchair (just visible in the middle of the road) is the old schoolhouse. The school - founded by Dr Anthony Walker in 1687 - has since relocated to new premises.
