A Memory of Gate Burton.
My name is Margaret Laughton nee Ward
I was born at Gate Burton Hall on the 7th July 1944
My parents were Randall and Olive Ward, we were from Torksey Lock,
My father was the lock keeper there, he also drove the school bus (Applewhites) around the local villages for the Gainsborough School
