Goodwood, The Racecourse 1904

More about this scene
'Glorious Goodwood', one of the great advertising slogans, usually lives up to its name, and the racing that takes place here, high on the South Downs and a mile north of Goodwood House, is usually blessed with wonderful weather. Racing here started in 1802, and the horseshoe-shaped course was graced by this jaunty two-deck grandstand in 1904.
