Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

The photographer is looking west along the High Street, past the Victorian primary school with its cluster of steep slated pyramidal roofs and the hall 'erected by General Bouverie for the use of the parish 1866'. The foreground is now closed off by an extension of the stone wall and the railings.

I went to the old school now the village hall in 1969. I was there for 3 years as an infant before going to the new school on Martins Lane in 1972. The new school was opened in 1971 I believe as my sister was the first intake and I can just about remember it. It was definately not built in 1955 as the photo indicates. I lived at 4 Ansell Way from 1965 until 1977 and had the most fantastic childhood there. I ...see more
