The Harrow and Pinner Division of the girl guides organised a huge May Day celebration on 1st May in their new Willow Tree Activity Centre in Breakspear Road North, Harefield. My father used to be the Officer in Charge here when it was an old people's home - we used to live in the cottage just before the dovecote. When we lived there Kath and Ian used to live in the Upper Lodge which was directly on the entrance to the road to Breakspear House. I have very few 'photos of Breakspear House as I lived here from the ages of 7 to 13. I have very happy memories of my time there.
