More about this scene
Hartlebury Castle has been the home of the bishops of Worcester for over a thousand years. Today, Worcestershire County Museum is housed in the north wing. In the orchard there is a display of traditional gypsy caravans, many of which once wound their way along the lanes of Midland counties. So expensive was the gold leaf and paint in their refurbishment, that the caravans are now protected with a glass canopy.
