Honiton, High Street c.1965

More about this scene
Each week, on market day, colourful stalls line the pavements of the High Street, and shoppers come from all over East Devon as they have for centuries. The Honiton Garage (left), a reminder of carefree motoring days, has been replaced by a supermarket. The solid brick building two doors down, then the National Provincial Bank, is now Natwest. Further down is Boots the Chemist, the Midland Bank, the Lamb Inn and Moors Garage.
