Caption for Howth, The Harbour 1897:
A view of the spacious harbour, with assorted sailing craft. After the packet-boats moved to Dun Laoghaire, Howth settled down to life as a fishing harbour. The harbour was the scene of Nationalist gun-running in 1914.
