Growing Up
A Memory of Kinnersley Manor.
I lived in Kinnersley Manor from the age of 4 till I was 14! I have very strong memories of the manor itself , I know that there were about 40 rooms and it was 3 stories high. The grounds were amazing, and we used to go swimming in the river mole!.I remember concrete structures by the river to stop tanks from crossing during the war. We used to jump from one to the other ( many a grazed knee in those days)!,! The manor house was a great place to play hide and seek with all those rooms. There was a long driveway from the road and the river used to flood in the winter and spring. We built a raised walkway to circumvent the flooding! I Ann happy to answer any questions and I have several photos. Jolan Seager
