Summer Work

A Memory of Kirn.

I too worked here as a school girl in the holidays.
I remember Heidi and Suzi well ( have a photo of them) Also a very nice Dutch girl, and an Australian called Margaret.
Rowena, who worked in the kitchen with one of the sisters. Margaret and Muriel I remember too. ( they were the real staff)
I worked a few summers and Christmas.
The manageress was a bit daunting. The first one was local, the second English.
Met so many nice people there. Especially Liz, from Edinburgh, who I lost contact with many years ago.
Kept in touch with guests from Essex for a few years too.
The halcyon days of youth.
