Lacock, Corner House, Church Street c.1955

More about this scene
Little has changed of this view of the corner of Church Street and West Street since the houses were built. Next to Corner House is one of the oldest houses in Lacock (centre left): the 14th-century Cruck House combines timber, stone and brick, and its cruck construction is exposed on the other side, a rare example in southern England.
