An RAC patrolman guides an early Austin saloon around the junction of Church Street and the High Street, as a 408C double-decker bus emerges from the top of Bridge Street. The National Westminster Bank still occupies its site, while the fake Tudor building immediately in front is now the office of the Woolwich Building Society, with its rival Nationwide counterpart alongside.

Ian… Red Van
Does anyone remember Ian Smith 1960s …. Had a red van, used to visit Headley…. Went to Kingston College… We went to the Greyhound races….and a clay pigeon shooting club….

Ronsons Factory
Does anyone remember Ronsons Factory-in leatherhead.. I worked there in 1969 …same bench as Jennifer and Mary… Jennifer’s dad owned a cafe near Headley I think … He was Italian , quite a few bikers used to go in there….

Kezia Rosina Southon
My 2nd great aunt, Kezia Rosina Southon, died here at work in 1915 of peritonitis and exhaustion. The matron in charge, Annie Kate , certified her death. I was wondering whether someone knew this.

Have No Fear, Moulds Is Here
Moulds was the first job my sister had. She started around 1958/9 ad during the school holidays she was easy hit hit for sixpence so I could go to the Cresent cinema where I could let my friend in via the exit door just outside the men's toilets. Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
