More about this scene

Caption for Lilbourne, The Church C1955: In a field near Lilbourne's All Saints church are the remains of several burial mounds from the Roman encampment. The church, noted for its low battlemented 15th-century tower, dates back to the 13th and 14th centuries. The village's close proximity to Watling Street made it a prosperous community in medieval times.

Memories of Lilbourne

This was the first house my husband and I bought together - we got married in it, and had our first daughter there. We stayed until 2002 - a gorgeous cottage, which we sadly outgrew.
