This photograph shows Lindfield's very long, curving main street, which climbs gently towards the unusually tall spire of the mainly 13th-century church. Note the Red Lion on the right, and the Hovis and Humphreys Bakery sign on the left. Lindfield has merged with Haywards Heath to the south over the years.
