Little Budworth is normally a very peaceful little village. Within its parish lies one of the few remaining survivals of genuinely ancient forest and heathland, now a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It can, however, be very noisy here at times - the parish is now also home to the Oulton Park motor racing circuit.
