My Early Life

A Memory of Meopham.

I lived in Foxendown Lane, from 1945 to 1967 when I got married. I went to Meopham school , when Mr Strand was headmaster, and Mrs Potter was a teacher. My friends were Deirdre ( dids) the police mans daughter , Brenda and Mary , Hilary and Helen .It was a lovely time. My name is Carole Pantlin was Jackson.

Hi Carol, Its been a long time, I'm Paul Muckleston I'm not sure if you will remember me, or whether you want to. If I remember correctly my brother Rich & I sometimes walked you & your sister home on dark evenings, after youth club or a get together. I've just met up with a couple of people I grew up with, who you will probably know, we had a drink in the George, & a walk around Arnold ave and whitehill remembering our youth. if you wish to chat more, let me know. Paul
Hi Paul , nice to hear from someone from the past, do you still live in Meopham . We have moved around but now live in Rushden, Northants.
Hi Carol, I moved to Medway when I married, and live there still. I drive through Meopham quite frequently and have been twice to meet up with Geoff Everett & Les Roberts, and we really enjoyed a walk round. If you wish, I'm on f/book Robert Paul Muckleston and a few photo's are there......
