More about this scene

The weathered steps of the ancient Market Cross at Middleham show the antiquity of this medieval township at the mouth of Wensleydale. It is now famous for its race horses and historic castle, once the home of Richard, Duke of York and later King Richard III. The elegant, mainly Georgian houses which surround the square include the Black Bull and White Swan Inns.

If anyone reads this and can give me any ...see more
