Midhurst, where every style of architecture can be seen in perfect harmony, is possibly the most beautiful of all the medieval market towns in Sussex. It is suggested that the 16th-century Angel Inn (on the left-hand side) is where the Pilgrim Fathers paused on their way to embark on the 'Mayflower' before sailing to America.

This picture is much the same as the previous one. The horse and carriage should be on the left side...but who cares, there's nothing coming up the right side. The Grammar School's tall oaks can be seen in the distant centre.
